Wow! I cannot believe how fast time flies!
This week was amazing! And definitely full of blessings. Tuesday we had the craziest wind that I've ever experienced. It was so powerful and I've never felt so weightless as the wind literally pushed me forward. The streets were so trashed and the power went off in our apartment for about five or six hours. It was so crazy but the President said it was just fine to work in so we did! Even with the threat of coconuts falling and hitting us on the head haha Luckily we survived the day with little injury. We also had the best lunch with members, it was with this young newlywed couple and they were so fun and cute. The best part of the meal though was for dessert we had Eggs and beans. Hahaha It was really a peach in yogart that looked like an egg and then chocolate covered raisins with chocolate that looked like beans.
By far the best day this week was Sunday though. In the morning we got to speak in Sacrament Meeting which was a little scary haha I talked about Jesus Christ and how because of His love and His atoneing sacrifice and resurrection that we celebrated this past week we should try to be better and do more to show our love and gratitude for him. It is so great to be advancing in the language and being able to share more with members and investigadores. And after Church we had the baptism of Guadalupe!! Honestly I'm not sure how she was able to get permission from her mom to attend church and to be baptized...But I am so grateful she did! It was such a great day! She was so happy and I was beaming ear to ear to see her be baptized.
Later we went on Divisions with Karen and Kenia - two girls in our ward who are preparing for missions. I was honestly pretty nervous to go on divisions when I'm so limited in my language but it was so fun! Karen is so amazing! We were able to go visit a lot of her friends and just people that she knew that might be interested in the gospel. Karen is going to be such a good missionary!
Today we ate at Carls Jr with some other Hermanas and Hermano Estaban haha It was so weird, it felt like a Carls Jr in America and they had english music playing too so I felt right at home. Haha It was a lot of fun though and the food was so good! Just like the USA. :)
This week was amazing! Everyday I feel so blessed to be serving here in Veracruz!

A Coconut that about hit us in the head. I hope you can kind of see how crazy the winds were by the trees haha
And Guadalupes baptism :)
