Feliz 5 de Mayo! I wondered how they celebrated 5 de Mayo here in Mexico but it's really just a normal day. Or at least for a missionary it is! This week was great! Just like every week haha Being a missionary is so incredible and I still can't believe that I'm here in Mexico.
On Saturday we had to go to the Doctor for Hermana Acevedo and we went right next to the port with all the huge boats, you can't really tell in this picture haha And there was also this gigantic statue right next to it as well. It was a fun little side adventure. Then later our Ward Mission leader accompanied us for the day and we had so many good contacts and lessons! It was an amazing day! And one of the contacts was Bob. Bob is originally from the USA and he just spends about 4 months at a time in Veracruz. It was so funny though because earlier in the day we had said, Today we are going to find someone who speaks English! And sure enough we did! After which we were kicking ourselves that we didn't wish for something more specific! haha The Lord definitely blesses his missionaries. It was such a weird experience though because he was talking in English and Spanish and afterward I honestly had no clue what things he said in English and what he said in Spanish.
I can't wait for Mothers Day, Happy Mothers day to all the mothers in the world and especially all the mothers in my life :)
