Adventures in Ixhuatlancillo
Hello!
This week was a crazy, crazy week. I already now it's going to be so hard to just leave Nogales behind. Especially when it's so close! But I am so excited to be here in Orizaba, Orizaba! Especially with Hna Zarate. She is amazing, I am so happy to be companions with someone who speaks Spanish again. I'm excited to progress even more in my Spanish! And Hna Zarate is such a great missionary. With a big testimony and a huge heart! :)
The ward here is huge! And our area even bigger! There are about 300 active members of this ward (Which is a pretty big number for Mexico haha) The area is so big though that there are a bunch of little towns that are in the ward boundries - It's going to be great to get to know the area! There are 3 sets of missionaries here also - two sets of Sister Missionaries and then the Elders. The best part of this week was when we went to Ixhuatlancillo. This town that's about fifteen minutes out of the city. We went all four of us - Hna Skousen, Hna Orr and me & Hna Zarate to open the area. This little city has a bunch of natives, all in their traditional dresses and they also speak another language called Nahuac. They are the most accepting people. Every single person that we talked to gave us a reference of a neighbor or family member and let us right in to share our message. It was so great!
Well I hope I have more interesting things to say next week! I think my emails are getting more and more boring. Oh well.. Haha
I hope everyone has an excellent week!

Memories from Nogales...
We passed this red fence every single day and I am just in love with it. Someday I'm going to have a red fence like this in my yard.
Last picture with the best jóvenes in Nogales! Misael and Miguel Angel!
Nothing like early mornings in ADO - Transfers at 530 in the morning when you're just moving about 20 minutes down the street aren't super fun. But at least I got to see some of the best sister missionaries out there! Hna Jensen, me, Hna Skousen, Hna Kind, Hna Orta, Hna Zarate (My companion! We somehow didn't take any pictures this week together...) And Hna Garcia
