The week I almost got sent home...
But literally! I almost got sent home! My visa expired and we had to go to Veracruz - they asked a bunch of questions (Such as, "Why are you here" "How did you get here" "Why did your Visa expire" "Why do you want to renew it" And about 100 more haha) But don't worry! We all made it through the test! It was such a blessing though to go to Veracruz and see my sisters Hermana Jensen and Hermana Ledek. I don't know what my mission would be without them. And from there - miracle tras miracle happened. I can't even believe how merciful and loving is our Heavenly Father!!
I have had the feeling for months now that I need to visit Margarita and Javier. (The family we taught that got baptized last year!) But obviously I can't just take a bus to Veracruz to go visit. But especially when I found out that Margarita's son died. I've been hurting for her and praying that for some reason or in some way I could see her. And then when we were heading back to San Andres from Veracruz and there wasn't another bus for 2 hours - I knew God was making the way. We called and I got permission (I'm still not sure how I got permission) And we went off in a taxi to see Costa Verde. My old home. It amazes me how much I've changed in a year - But Costa Verde almost hasn't changed a bit. We got there to Margarita's house and we asked if she was home - The Señora told us that she was working but that we could pass by to see her mother-in-law. But there she was!! It felt so good to talk to her for a few minutes. To give words of comfort and remind her that the blessings of the temple are waiting for her and her family. (Oh how I pray that they can make it to the temple!) Then we went running from her house to see if we could find Ruperto and Guadalupe (Norma) And who should I find in the street?? But them both!! Actually they found me - we ran into the sis. missionaries and started talking to them and I got attack hugged by Guadalupe! " TERRRYYY! " haha It was the best moment. And then Ruperto drives by in his car. The best part? It was his birthday! He saw me and said "This is my present!" In that moment it clicked in my brain that it was his birthday (the 27th of March) And I had to remind him he couldn't give me a hug haha Ahhh it was just such a blessing. I know that God loves us and will bless us with tender mercies when we need it most.
Other blessings/miracles of the week? Jose Albañil got the Melquezedec preisthood this week!! We got to be there when they set him apart. I am so proud of this future missionary!
I have no idea why sometimes life is hard and it feels like nothing goes right - and sometimes you have weeks where you feel like you're walking on clouds and God blesses you in every minute. The important thing that I've learned (A part from the fact that it is so we can learn) is that we just have to always be positive. If we're positive and we keep the faith - everything will work out. God loves us - We're his children! He will bless us with what we need and sometimes he lets us be the blessing that others need. I am so grateful for the chance to serve my Heavenly Father and invite His children to be with Him. It's the greatest blessing I've ever recieved.
Have a great week! Thanks for all your love and support!

Guadalupe and Ruperto
My district. We had a district activity where our district leader told us - You've got 15 minutes to go and get an animal and bring it to the class. And our church is on the way out of town not near anything. At first we had no clue what to do - and then we took off running to what would be like 8 blocks to Hermana Agustina's house. We showed up and asked "Hermana! Can we borrow your dog?!" She was super confused but willingly let us take Hatchy on a little walk to the church. Hatchy was so happy to get out of the house and go on a run. We got to the church and were the only ones truly successful. Elder Davis and Elder Pantuso just went a few blocks away and bought "Penguinos" haha I don't even know 100% what the purpose was but it showed us that if we work with members we can get investigators in the church!
I took mi hija to Salto de Eyipantla! Only this time we also went and saw it on top!
