Hola Familia y Amigos!
This week was so great! I absolutely love advancing more in my spanish and being able to share with the Members and Investigadors more. This week we had Zone Conference with all the Missionaries within an hour of our area. It was so fun to get to know all the missionaries a little bit more and actually understand things going on in the meeting haha
This week we had SO many lessions with Members. I definitely have a rock solid testimony of how much it means to have a member in a lession now. They honestly make all the difference with investigators and less actives. People are just more willing to listen and make commitments when you have a member there with you testifying of what you teach and sharing their experiences!
Yesterday was the Birthday of Margarita and Javier's daughter Jamine. She is honestly so adorable. Everytime we leave their house she tries to come with us, she's the most willing ward member to accomany the missionaries and she's only 3 years old ;) It was so fun to celebrate with her. I just LOVE this family, It has been such a blessing for me to be apart of their conversion into the gospel and all the blessings they've received.
I don't have much time today because we did a huge Spring-Cleaning of our tiny house. I honestly don't know if it's ever been cleaner. haha But the work presses on! I love being here in Veracruz! Everyday I receive a stronger testimony that this is exactly where I need to be and the exact time as well. I love being a missionary and even though it's hard sometimes it's such a blessing and I wouldn't change a thing. A couple days ago in the morning when I didn't want to get up I had the thought "If this was my mission I would sleep in for a few more hours" And I really realized that this isn't my mission, It's the Lords, and I'm so grateful for this opportunity to serve him and His children here in Mexico.
